If you are lucky enough to practice your sport mostly in bright sunshine you will need a lens which has low light transmission such as dark Grey. Unlike some of the coloured lens tints, Grey lenses do not alter the perception of colours.
Grey lenses which are not polarised will not absorb reflected glare.
With mirrored lenses, what you see is not necessarily what you get! The Smith and Rudy Project mirrored ('Laser' and 'Multilaser') sunglasses featured in this category have a Grey base lens with a coloured outer mirror coating. This means you see grey through the lens but from the outside the lenses appear coloured. Groovy!!
